Where Will You Be When the Lights Go Out? Earth Hour 2010

In little over a day, the world will celebrate Earth Hour 2010, the fourth such global light-switch off. Wherever you are in the world, at 8:30pm local time on Saturday 27 March 2010 WWF are encouraging 1 billion people around the globe to turn off their lights for an hour to show that they care about climate change.

Of course the added bonus will be less light pollution and darker skies!

If you want to participate, then sign up here. In order to create a sense of competition in the UK, you can find out how your county fares compared with the rest of the country.

The Earth Hour website also has ideas for things to do in the darl, including light writing

You can follow WWF_UK on Twitter and view the rest of their videos on their Youtube page
